Skills Day – Wednesday October 8, 2025
Hosted by the Stettler Regional Board of Trade
Skills Day is a one-day event designed for high school students to explore the diverse field of rural healthcare and the many professions it offers. Held during school hours, the event brings students together in a community space, local school, or healthcare facility to experience hands-on learning and real-world insights.
Students will have the chance to participate in:
- Storytelling sessions with local healthcare providers
- A Q&A panel with professionals from a variety of healthcare careers
- Interactive skills stations (suturing, IV starts, airway management, and more)
