Mental Health used to be a conversation no one had as it was a stigma of the unwell. Over the past few years and more pronounced with the COVID-19 pandemic, the belief that each should suffer in silence and shame has been reduced. Join us as we discuss Stress and Mental Health and how it affects the workplace with Cally Strandquist of the Wellness House. Cally will help us explore ways to positively reduce stress, assist with those who may be struggling, and how to recognize our own mental health before it affects other aspects of our life.

Cally Strandquist is the owner and Registered Provisional Psychologist at The Wellness House in Stettler. After graduating high school, Cally attended Red Deer College for her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Psychology from the University of Calgary. From there, she began her career as a Family School Liaison (FSL) within the Clearview School Division. During this time, she earned her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. In April of 2020, Cally opened The Wellness House. As a Solution-Focused therapist, Cally combines intuition and mindfulness with science to promote and enhance client's well-being. In addition, Cally is an EMDR therapist which allows her to help individuals process trauma, emotions, and experiences. As Cally works to continue her caseload in the area, she is grateful to practice in her hometown and help those within our community.
