The evening includes a steak & lobster dinner, live & silent auction, draws, and a dance.
Funds raised during the event directly support the Heartland Youth Center's programs: BGC (formerly Boys and Girls Club) and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Jewel Theatre 70th Anniversary Gala

Attendees of the gala will enjoy a Red Carpet entrance into the theatre in their formal attire then they will get their photo taken in front of the 70th Anniversary sign, all the while pretending it is 1953 in the heydays of Hollywood! There will be a short reception with drinks and a welcome address from a special guest speaker then we will watch the short film created by Jewel Theatre staff with local interviews, old photos and many memories over the past 70 years. After, we will have hors d'oeuvres, get our drinks and popcorn and settle in to watch the fun Feature Film Calamity Jane, the first movie ever shown at the Jewel Theatre on December 21, 1953. It's a fun, memorable night to celebrate the legacy, and the memories, of the Jewel Theatre.

This trio, based out of Stettler, AB formed in December of 2017 when drummer, Andrew Comchi, discovered local guitarist Steve Powell and bassist Charles Lacroix. All members bring years of experience from past bands and have collaborated to refine a mux of cover songs spanning from the '70's to the 2000's. This summer, Herle Maggard plan to liberate some clean tones of Pink Floyd, LED Zeppelin and Hendrix and unleash heavier sounds of The Cult, Black Sabbath, and Metallica, just to name a few.

With 3 guitarists, a bassist, a drummer and occasionally a pianist, they hope to bring an old fashioned, vintage sound to the table, as well as a new take on the country/rock genre.the Young Guns, a diverse group of young men who all share a love for music. Entertainment in the Park - Lewis and Royal

Bring a lawn chair and join us every Wednesday at 7pm at the West Stettler Park bandstand for exceptional live entertainment. This weeks artist is Lewis and ROyal! They met in 1993, found that their styles and voices blended well, and they soon began composing and arranging music together. Their first project was composing music for the runaway musical hit CHICKENS, a combo of blues, bluegrass, and old time rock. Since then they have been traveling the country performing at community halls, rodeos, fundraisers, and all manner of events. Highlights include performing at Jack Singer Concert Hall and the Olympic Saddledome.
Ol' Mac Market

The Ol’ Mac Market is held Saturdays throughout the season from 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. at Ol’ MacDonalds Resort. Averaging around 50 vendors in a beautiful outdoor setting, the Ol’ Mac Market is a perfect way to enjoy the start of the weekend! The Ol Mac Market works to have a “festival” atmosphere bringing in singing groups for entertainment and you will get your chance to get an awesome balloon animal from Rosco the Clown! It is so much more than just a market, head out and see for yourself why locals and tourists alike enjoy it so much!
