Jake Rock BBQ Fundraiser DNR - RR 19-3 Jake Rock is an 8 year old boy going into liver failure from a genetic disease called PFIC. He is in desperate need of a liver transplant and has been in the Stollery Hospital with his parents waiting for a donor match.

Jaydee Bixbyis a country singer who rose to fame with a second-place showing on the reality show Canadian Idol. Born on August 14, 1990, in Drumheller, Alberta, he got his musical start in a band comprised of family members, including his mother and father. In 2008 he successfully auditioned for Canadian Idol with the song "Lawdy Miss Clawdy" and garnered a reputation on the show for performing similarly far-before-his-time songs, including fourElvis Presleynumbers. He also showcased a passion for country music, performing songs byJohn Michael Montgomery("Sold [The Grundy County Auction Incident]"),Conway Twitty("It's Only Make Believe"),Lonestar("Amazed"), andJohnny Cash("Ring of Fire)

Entertainment in the Park- Steve Arsenault West Stettler Park Steve recorded and released two singles to radio in 2016. "Heart and Soul" was the first release followed by "Easy." Both received radio play across Canada. Also both singles were co -written by Steve. Currently Steve is busy playing shows across Alberta promoting his two singles.
Entertainment in the Park- Drew Gregory West Stettler Park With the birth of his son, Ty in 2016, Drew states “Hearing him cry for the first time gave me a whole new view of the world. He has already made me want to be the best I can possibly be at everything I do….. especially being a dad.” With new meaning to “The Way I Was Raised”, a new son, and a new EP, the future looks bright for Drew Gregory.

Multi-Sport at the Lake Sylvan Lake The Bad Ass Sports Club of Sylvan Lake is excited to announce the return of their second annual Multi-Sport at the Lake. This coming August 11th, in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, we are hosting seven different events that include: Sprint and Standard Triathlon, Duathlon and AquaBike, and an event for the whole family - the Timbits Family Fun Relay! Again this year our event will be sanctioned by Triathlon Alberta to qualify athletes in the Sprint and Standard Duathlon, and the Standard AquaBike for the ITU Netherlands 2020 World Championships. We have partnered with JumpStart and KidsSport to give back to our local sports communities. Fun for the whole family is provided on race day. Entertainment in the Park- Devin Cooper West Stettler Park Over the past three years, Cooper’s combination of blues, rock ‘n roll and country has lead him to play on many different stages, with over 200 shows across Canada and the United States since the summer of 2013. Following the release of “No Chasing You” Cooper showcased at Canadian Country Music Week on the Diamonds in The Rough Stage in Saskatoon (Sept. 2017). Kicking off summer 2017, Cooper was the main entertainment on the Stampede Float, leading the Calgary Stampede Parade during the televised event. Cooper was direct support for rock legend Lou Gramm (Foreigner) at the Rock 104.5 Birthday Bash in Olds, AB, after releasing his single “Cross the Line” in 2015.
Entertainment in the Park- Renegade Station West Stettler Park Their sound will see no borders, simply the hybrid of four individuals, all coming from various backgrounds able to blend together to create a unique group with a harmonious sound. Together the band had mastered their harmonies to near perfection, which one might say could be reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac, embellished with country flair, and now with an outlaw (another definition of “renegade) edge.

Stettler Pheasant Festival Stettler Board of Trade & Agriplex Today the festival offers three days of privatized hunting for registered participants in half day or full-day hunts along with the opportunity to participate in hands on interactive learning sessions throughout the weekend.
Registrations for the half day sessions include privatized hunting grounds in pre- assigned areas for up to four hunters and their dogs. Each half day hunt will be $250.00 and includes 8 Pheasants to be released just prior to your hunt. Additional pheasants are available for purchase.
Following the festival, a release of 300 hens will be performed to help further improve conservation within the County of Stettler and increase the pheasant population for future hunters.
