Shopping locally not only helps promote the local economy, but also supports the strength and growth of our community including events and not for profit organizations. Each time you shop local you help a business stay open which in turn pays taxes to benefit important Town provided services like our local RCMP, our Volunteer Fire Department, senior services, the Stettler Public Library, road maintenance and parks and contributes to the quality of life you enjoy. Your money helps to employ neighbours allowing them to put food on their table, pay their mortgage, and put kids in activities.

Through the Shop Stettler Marketing Campaign, we promote shopping local. The program has been developed to help you, the business, by encouraging customers to look around locally before they travel out of town or shop online. It is also a way for you to say Thank you to your customers for shopping local by offering the opportunity to reward them several times throughout the year. The Shop Stettler Marketing Campaign will once again run year round with four promotions being held; Shop Stettler’s Cash Cards, Shop Settler’s Pot of Gold, Shop Stettler’s Stampede and Shop Stettler’s Dog Days of Summer, as well as monthly prize give-aways to help encourage shopping local throughout the year.
How Customers Participate
By visiting participating businesses throughout the promotions you are able to receive one entry slip for each purchase. You will receive additional entry slips for each increment of $100 spent. (ie: if you spend $237.50 you will receive 3 entry slips). Drop off your completed entries in the drop boxes provided at participating businesses for the Grand Prize Draw!
**Gift Certificates from participating businesses will be prizes awarded.
Monthly Prize Giveaways
For the months of January, February, April, May, July, September and October, shoppers have the chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to participating businesses just for shopping locally. Prizes will be awarded at random as customers make a purchase from a participating business.
**Prize draw dates and locations will be drawn at random- two prizes will be awarded each month.
