Can you recognize the signs and symptoms of someone experiencing a mental health problem? Would you know how to help or who to call? Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem or experienving a mental health crisis. Just as physical first aid is administered to an injured person before medical treatment can be obtained, MHFA is given until appropriate treatment is received or until the crisis is resolved. Clearview Public Schools is offering a two-day training workshop on MHFA. You must attend both days to receive your certificate. This workshop can be subsidized thanks to a grant from the Rotary Club of Stettler. Call Adult learning for more information.
The Tim Horton's Coffee van will be in the parking lot of the hospital giving out free coffee and hot chocolate. As well we will be selling cinnamon buns inside the front entrance and the Volunteer Auxiliary will be having their annual Christmas sale in the atrium. Everyone invited.

Helpful Tip: A will that is out of date could create more problems than it solves. Laws change, personal and financial resources and estate planning. Mary Dawn Eggleton with Suicide Information and Education Services will briefly discuss strategies to manage stress and anxiety at a healthy level.
